ModelCo x I.AM.GIA

If you haven’t already heard of Australian fashion label I.AM.GIA there’s a good chance you would have scrolled through some of the “it” girl supermodels of the moment (Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerberhave to name drop a few) wearing the military-inspired combat pants, plaid two-piece sets and color-blocked sweatsuits on Instagram. Alana Pallister and sister Stevie, co-founders and brains behind the much loved Melbourne fashion label Tiger Mist, launched I.AM.GIA only a year ago and have already acquired a cult celebrity following (#GiaArmy anyone?!) So it was a no-brainer when we were approached to collaborate for their Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia debut.

As the makeup sponsor behind the beauty look(s) for their RESORT ’19 show, the brief from the brand was unique, “avoid uniformity and maximise each model’s individuality”. The end result? A dramatic winged eye, luminescent skin, bushy boy-brows, bleach brows and barely there at all makeups!

INSPIRATION:  “Say no to uniformity. You can’t box beauty in! Think raw & real. Join the #GiaArmy”

Repeat the same step starting at the bottom inner corner and trace to meet at the eye edge, joinging the wing. Repeat the whole process to thicken and darken.
